Lots of us here in United States (like me) or in other country, Filipino culture is still at home even far away from the Philippines. From the food we eat like "ulam at kanin". We can't resist eating it every single day. Our elders want us youths to still have the knowledge about our Filipino culture. Like saying "po" and "opo" to our elders or saying "ate" and "kuya" to our brother or sisters. It means even you are born in America or other country and you have one or both parents that is Filipino, You are still Filipino, in short "Pinoy". And nobody can erase that.
I have kids of my own and I dont want them to forgot what is being Filipino is, the culture, the tradition, the food, being respectful and they must learn that. Even though we all know that the country we came from is a "Corrupt Country". You know us "Pinoy" most important thing to us is our family. We love helping each other. We don't want to forget want we really are.

Pianist Mary Grace Gellekanao chose to overcome her disability and touch people's lives by raising funds through her concerts for the education of pastors in the Philippines
It was a spellbounding performance, something you would expect from a classical pianist. But Mary Grace has an obvious disability, thought to be the result of amniotic band syndrome, a congenital malformation.

Diane Monique Lhuillier (born 1971 in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines) is a Filipino fashion designer based in the United States. She was born and raised in the Philippine province of Cebu and is of French and Cebuano descent, hence her typical French last name meaning "the oilmaker".
Monique Lhuillier Lhuillier's family is one of the more prominent names in Philippine high society. The family owns a chain of pawnshops currently operating in more than a hundred cities in the nation.
Having had a difficult time finding her own gown, Lhuillier, a 23-year-old newlywed at the time, decided to begin sketching her own line of dresses. Her husband figured it was little more than a hobby, one that she would tire of soon enough. "He thought I had the wedding blues and eventually I'd get over it," she told USA WEEKEND Magazine.
She made the news with two high-profile celebrity weddings in a row. She designed Christine Baumgartner's wedding dress for the fall 2004 wedding to Kevin Costner shortly after designing both of Britney Spears's wedding dresses in her wedding to Kevin Federline. She's also designed the wedding gown of US former Vice President and former Second Lady Al and Tipper Gore's youngest daughter, Sarah G. Lee, during her marriage to Bill Lee, Giuliana DePandi's wedding gown to The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic, and Allison Munn's wedding gown to actor Scott Holroyd.
Subsequently Lhuillier added evening wear to her line, and several of her efforts showed up on red carpets before awards shows. For the Fall 2007 season she branched off into more typical oddball runway collections.

Reynaldo Lapuz on American Idol
An sillier-looking performer blew into the Dallas (Texas) leg of the "Al" audition tour, a Reno,Nevada-based Filipino, Reynaldo Lapuz. Garbed in a princely, immaculate white costume, complete with head gear and cape, that rivals the royal look of a Knights-of-Columbus uniform, Lapuz immediately captivated Rany, Paula, and specially Simon, whose name was inscribed on the Pimoy's feathered cowboy hat.
How smart was that?
He sings his orgiinal composition, "We Brothers Forever.". Voice quality and rendition style? Who cares if Lapuz thought he was in the privacy of his shower stall and singing his guts out? What matter was, so inspiringly audacious was Lapu'z effort that before Simon gave obvious 'No' decision.
About half-a-dozen clips of his "AI" video invaded the video sharing website, youtube, and courted thousands upon thousands of hits. Moreover, "We're Brothers Forever" has gone through remixes duly posted on the site as well.

Vincent Bueno (December 10, 1985), born in Vienna of Filipino parents, is a singer. On January 12, 2008, he became winner of the ORF programme "Musical! Die Show" (Musical! The Show), an Austrian television musical contest.[1] Vincent started dancing at the age of 4.[2] Later, he sang and performed in the Sarah Geronimo concert in Vienna.[3] On January 18, 2008, Bueno stated to media that he wanted to try his luck in Philippine showbiz
Early education A graduate of music and performing arts at the Vienna Conservatory of Music, Bueno is also a composer of R&B music, having taken-up special courses in acting, dancing and singing. At age 11, he managed to play 4 musical instruments - piano, guitar, drums and bass guitar. His father was a former vocalist and a 1970 local band lead guitarist. Bueno is fluent in speaking Filipino language aside from German and English.
"Musical! Die Show" Vincent defeated Eva Klikovics and Gudrun Ihninger of 10 contestants / finalists, and earned the top prize of 50,000 EUR (3 million PHP) plus the "chance of a lifetime". He first performed "Grease Lightning" (from musical Grease), and then, "Music of the Night" (from Phantom of the Opera). Vincent got 67% of televotes (landslide victory) from televiewers in Austria and nearby countries. 2nd placer Austrian Eva Klikovics received 37% of televotes while Gudrun Ihninger was eliminated earlier, and salvaged third place. The television show is a reality-based talent contest which considers contestants’ theatrical and dancing skills or abilities, which in turn, are judged by televiewers' vote by phone or SMS.
The contest Musical! Die Show began on elimination round of November 23, 2007 with 10 contestants from 400 beginners who auditioned. Austria and other European televiewers rated / televoted the finalists. "Hair" was Vincent's first number, and he performed memorable songs - "I Wanna Be Like You" of Jungle Book, "Superstar" of Jesus Christ Superstar, "Why God Why?" of Miss Saigon, "Singin' in the Rain", and the German "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" from Mary Poppins. "Musical - The Show", as project of Austrian broadcasting TV ORF, is not an ordinary singing competition like "Starmania" or "American Idol". Completely different, it involves theater arts, musical, and acting capability. Specifically, unlike Western and Asian talent show contests, Musical! Die Show, is comparatively more difficult and challenging due to its theater leanings. Aspirants would act and sing a la Broadway, and instead of merely singing pop tunes, they choose Broadway musical theater repertoire
Commonly known as nikky and was bestowed the nickname billyboxergirl by her close peers. Age is a myth for time knows no boundaries.
